The 3M ESPE Sof-Lex Extra Thin Polishing Discs system is a professional finishing and polishing solution designed for achieving smooth, high-gloss surfaces on composite, ceramic, metal, and glass ionomer restorations. The system utilizes aluminum oxide–coated flexible discs arranged in a complete grit sequence for controlled and predictable surface refinement.

Its ultra-thin (XT) disc design improves interproximal access while maintaining excellent control and durability. The Pop-On™ mandrel system allows quick disc changes, enhancing clinical efficiency and workflow speed. With its color-coded grit progression, the system ensures a consistent step-by-step polishing protocol for optimal esthetic results.
